Classic Reuben Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
for the sandwich
▪️ 8 slices My Twin Loaves Rye Bread
▪️ 4 tbsp softened butter
▪️ ¼ cup Mayonnaise Dressing (see below)
▪️ 8 slices Maasdam Cheese or other swiss cheese
▪️ 350g Silverside, thinly sliced
▪️ 1 Cup Ceres Organic Sauerkraut
▪️ 4 tbsp softened butter

▪️ ½ Cup Whole egg Mayonnaise
▪️ 3 tbsp tomato sauce
▪️ 2 tbsp Krakus horseradish
▪️ 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
▪️ 1 tsp honey
▪️ ¼ tsp paprika
▪️ Salt & Pepper
Method
Mayonnaise dressing
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, tomato sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire, honey, and paprika until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Sandwich
1. Butter each slice of bread on one side. On the other side, spread the mayonnaise dressing. Start topping one side of the slices with Maasdam cheese (or other swiss cheese), silverside and sauerkraut. Top the sandwich with the remaining slice, with the dressing side facing down.
2. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet & cook until the bread is golden, and the cheese is melted. It is recommended to cook for 3 minutes on each side.
